I have been hinting for a while that I’m hoping to launch a photography product and after weeks of perfecting my idea, yesterday my sample pack turned up and I’m in love! So here it goes.
Photography Prompt Cards, inspired by the empowering everyday cards I decided to create 31 cards that each contain a prompt to inspire you to get creative with your photography. The cards can be used within the image or simply just to inspire the image. On the back of the card contains a list of hashtags that are relevant to the prompt. To make things even easier I have added a QR code that can be scanned and will take you directly to a PDF file containing the hashtags, you will then be able to copy and paste these over onto the social media of your choice.
Of course these cards don’t have to just be for use on social media they could just simply be something that inspires you that day to pick up your camera, even if you don’t share your image, these cards will help to keep you creative. You can look through the hashtags on the back of each card for inspiration too. You can see the community behind it and hopefully that will leave you feeling creative.
The Photography Prompt Cards come in a pack of 32 (31 prompts and one instruction card) and the card it’s self is made from recycled paper, 350gsm. The cards are an off white/grey with a blue tinge to them. This is so they show up against any colour background if you do decide to include them in your image.
So there it is. The launch of a physical product of mine. I’ve been wanting to create a product for so long and this idea was one that just came to me and it’s been full power on it ever since. But I need your help. I simply cannot afford to pay for a batch of cards outright. The minimum order is 100. So I’m going to be launching a site where hopefully you guys will support me. You can essentially “pre-order” the cards through the website and if I achieve the amount I need into creating these cards then the plan is to try and get them shipped out to you by Christmas, it’s a tight turnaround by one I can hopefully manage. (Of course there is the risk that I can’t get them all shipped by then so please consider this).
I’ve tried to keep the costs down to a minimum without skimping on quality. I also want these cards to be something you treasure. The cards will be £19 with free UK shipping.
If this campaign is a success I already have ideas for the future and hopefully I can bring together a group of like minded creatives and create a wonderful community.
