I have a confession to make I am a little bit of a podcast addict. I am relatively new to them and it wasn’t until I saw a tweet from Katie at BeNourishd on Twitter talking about them. I decided that it was time for me to check them out. They came at the perfect time. I was just about to make a career shift to taking my blog more seriously and I was so inspired by what I was listening too. I do tend to listen to a lot that are focused around blogging and social media but these are my interests. I hope you either share my love of podcasts or you’ll give these 7 a listen because I know you’re going to enjoy them and learn so much from them too!
Hashtag Authentic – Me & Orla
This is where I started out with podcasts and I would recommend that if you’re new to them to start here. Me & Orla is run by Sara who is an Instagram Guru. She started her podcast Hashtag Authentic last year and it’s so inspirational. She talks to other leading professionals in the online world as well as sharing her own tips and advice. These podcasts are ones you could just listent o over and over again and it help with the way you think about yourself and the way you think about your blog/Instagram.
I quite often sit there listening to them nodding along. There’s so much to like.
My favourite episodes? This one with All That Is She and this one with Jen Carrington.
A new episode of Hashtag Authentic goes live every Wednesday.
What She Said – WanderLuce
What she said is an amazing podcast run by Lucy, who I have had the pleasure of meeting. She is such a lovely lady and I even confessed to her that I listen to a lot of her podcasts in the bath, which is a fact she loves haha! There are again so many episodes that you learn so much from. Tips on how to make money from your blog, how to take yourself serously and she’s not afraid to ask the questions we all want to know the answers too.
My favourite episdoes? This one with The Travel Hack (you will need a notebook and pen for this one, so much to learn!) and this one where she interviews Sara from Me & Orla.
A new episode of What She Said goes live every Monday.
Made Online – London Beauty Queen
I can’t even remember how I stumbled across Made Online but I am so glad I did. Again it’s a great one for learning about the online world. Hayley from London Beauty Queen speaks to those who have made their career online, like the title says. It’s great to learn about the process people went on before they got to where they are and again it’s another one where you learn so much. Hayley’s style makes you feel relaxed and as if you’re in the room listening in to the conversation.
My favourite episodes are this one with Hannah Gale and this one with Gracie Francesca. Both of those episodes are uplifting!
There’s not been any new episodes since December but I hope it will be back soon with another series.
The Quiet Voice – Pretty Not Included
This is a brand new podcast from the lovely Sarirah from Pretty Not Included. It’s about the ups and downs of pursuing creative work. Based around slow living and putting things in perspective. It will leave you feeling calm but inspired by the hard work that goes into working in a creative industry. It’s definitely one to listen too.
My favourite episode so far (and there has only been 3) is this one about being enough and your work being enough.
A new episode of The Quiet Voice comes out every Tuesday.
Not Another Mummy Podcast – Not Another Mummy Blog
Not Another Mummy Podcast is run by the amazing Alison Perry. She keeps things real and she is a just a burst of colour on my Instagram. Her podcast has had some very well known people on it and it discusses the ups and downs of motherhood. Whether that’s on giving birth, juggling being a mum and working. I think she has everything covered. Again with this podcast it’s like your listening to two friends chat, it’s friendly and upbeat and it’s perfect on those days where you might have had a hard day being a parent.
My favourite episodes are this one from Clemmie Hooper on giving birth and this one with Kate Ellison which is giving me all the wanderlust.
A new episode pops up all the time so make sure you’re subscribed to hear the new episodes.
Make it Happen – Jen Carrington
Oh this one. Make it Happen is but the amazing creative business coach Jen Carrington. This podcast pretty much changed my career. It sounds very over the top but it’s so true. She makes you put your business into perspective. Talking about how you don’t need to be busy all the time, referring to them as seasons of hustle and seasons of rest. Striving to be the top of your game without fear of judgement. It’s honestly amazing and you will feel so uplifted and inspired. You need to listen.
My favourite episodes are this one from Mariah Coz all about making money from your blog without relying on traffic and this one about redefining your working week.
There will hopefully be new episodes this Spring!
Blogtacular – Kat Molesworth
And finally the one that rounds everything up nicely. I would love to attend Blogtacular but with the baby on the way it’ not going to happen anytime soon. Kat speaks to loads of inspiring people. Bloggers, brands, social media managers and business owners. Again it’s another one you’re going to learn a lot from. So grab a notebook and pen and get learning!
My favourite episodes are this one with Kristabel Plummer all about pro blogging and this one with Sarah Barnes all about using Pinterest to super-charge your traffic.
A new episode pops up so keep an eye out. Series 3 started a few weeks ago and I need to catch up with them myself!
I would love to hear what podcasts you love listening too. I am always in need of new ones to listen too so send all your recommendations my way!
