
✨ Simple, Delicious Flapjacks ✨ I posted these on my stories last week and I had so many messages (not even pretending 😏😂) asking for the recipe. So here we go!
They are the perfect after school snack. Or you know 11am, or 8pm or basically whenever 😂 so good you’ll need another batch by Thursday 😂

Simple Flapjack Recipe
Servings: 16 fingers
Ingredients
- 200 g caster sugar
- 250 g baking butter
- 5 tbsp golden syrup
- 600 g porridge oats
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°c / 160°c fan and line a baking tray (I use a 29cm roaster) with baking paper.
- In a pan add the caster sugar, baking butter and golden syrup and melt together over a gentle heat.Once melted, pour over the porridge oats and mix until coated. The mixture shouldn’t be too wet or too dry. Add more oats if it's too wet.
- Pour into the lined tin, pat down and smooth over. Bake for 20/25 minutes or until the edges start to brown. The top will feel soft still.Leave to cool for 40 minutes before slicing.
